Abstract

PURPOSE: An inexpensive mixed dye composition having improved degree of exhaustion and sublimation fastness in a deep color, capable of giving high fastness after resin finish, comprising an anthraquinone and a monoazo dyes in a specific proportion.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) 98W5wt% of an anthraquinone dye of formula I: [one of X and Y is amino group; the other is hydroxyl group; 0≤ n≤2 (on the average)] and (B) 2W95wt% of an azo dye of formula II: (Z is F, Cl, or cyano, R1 is H or lower alkoxy; R2 is lower alkyl which may be substituted; R3 is 4W10C alkyl; R4 is 1W8C alkyl, and the total carbon number of R3 and R4 is ≥8). The composition is usable as a blue dye for polyester fibers.
