Abstract

PURPOSE: To make easy the synthesis of image with color separation, by splitting the light flux passed through one set of image formation lens optical system into a plurality of light flux, by forming the image on the solidstate pick up element group provided on the same substrate by taking the light flux as specific light flux, and by color separation of the image picked up correctly.
CONSTITUTION: The light flux L0 through the image forming lens optical system 20 is split into the light flux L1, L2 and L3 with the half mirrors 21, 22 and reflection mirror 30, and the light flux L1 transmitted is formed on the first solidstate pick up element group 24 via blue filter. Further, the light flux L2 is formed on the second solidstate pick up element group 25 via the green filter 28 and optical path length correction optical member 29, and the light flux L4 is formed on the third solidstate pick up elemnt group 26 via the red filter 31 and optical path length correction optical member 32. The solidstate pick up element group 24∼26 with this constitution are formed on the same substrate 23, optical path length correction optical members 25 and 26 are formed on the solidstate pick up element group 25 and 26 to make small the pick up unit in size, and correct color separation is made for the image picked up and the sysnthesis is made easy.
