Abstract
PURPOSE:To recycle waste tires without producing air pollution and the like which results from the burning of them by dipping the cut waste tires into a cooling medium, roughly breaking the cooled tires, selecting the rubber content by a magnetic selecting machine and then crushing the selected rubber. CONSTITUTION:The waste tire is cut by a cutter 1 into pieces of, for example, 10 cm by 10cm and then sent by conveyors 2, 3 to a dip cooling tower 4, where the cut tire is dipped into the liquid nitrogen. Then the tire is sent to a rough breaker 5 such as a hammer crusher so as to be broken roughly, and then sent to a magnetic selector 6, where iron contents such as steel code is removed, rubber content selected ont for being crushed into powder by a crusher 8.
