Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress the fluctuation in the load upon a driving motor without hindering the rising function of a loom, by mounting a centrifugal clutch on the spindle of the loom and coupling a flywheel to the clutch through a one-way rotary transmission means.
CONSTITUTION: The centrifugal clutch 5 is mounted on the spindle 1 of the loop loom. An inner ring 21 of the one-way rotary transmission means 20 is fitted on a drum 10 provided around the spindle 1. An outer ring 22 of the transmission means 20 is fitted in the flywheel 19. Only the forward rotation of the drum 10 is transmitted to the flywheel 19 by rollers 23 interposed between both the rings 21, 22. When the 100m is started, the drum 10 is not rotated and a starting resistance based on the rotation of the flywheel 19 is not caused. When the spindle of the 100m has reached a stationary rotation, the drum 10 is rotated by a centrifugal force and the flywheel 19 is also rotated by the one-way rotary transmission means 20. As a result, the inertial mass of a driving system is increased and the fluctuation in the load upon the loom is suppressed.
