Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to generate the time information suitable for a plurality of modes such as ON-line mode and debug mode of electronic computers with one set of counters, by storing the time information of a plurality generated in time sharing to a plurality of registers. CONSTITUTION:The time set information 400 and the time control signal 300 indicating the two types of time selection and the time set start are developed from the time set circuit 20 at the time set operation. The time information which is made to +1 to the content of count with the count signal 501 at the count circuit 40 stores the time information to the registers 60 and 61 selected 71 with the selection signal 601. One time information among the registers 60 and 61 is selected at the selection circuit 70 and fed to the counter circuit 40 as the set information 401 to perform count. One time information out of 60 and 61 is selected 72 with the selection signals 801 and 802 from the central processing units 2 and 3 and delivered 50 and 51.
