Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out the azimuth detection with high accuracy even when the number of bits is small by providing a correction circuit for a target azimuth. CONSTITUTION:In an amplitude detecting circuit 1, the amplitude of a radar received signal is detected. The radar received signal is stored in a buffer circuit 2 together with an azimuth signal. Then, the central azimuth of two bits is detected by a central azimuth detecting circuit 5, on one hand, the amplitude ratio of the radar received signal of 2 bits by an amplitude comparison circuit 3 is sought, and the correction quantity of the azimuth is sought from the amplitude ratio by an azimuth correction quantity calculating circuit 4, on another. Thereafter, the target azimuth is calculated from the central azimuth and the azimuth correction quantity by an azimuth calculating circuit 6.
