Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a light-transmitting, heat-insulating panel being light, inexpensive, and excellent in a light transmittance, by a method wherein a upper and a bottom side of a flat plate-like box are of a light transmitting member, latticed partitions are secured at between the upper and the bottom sides, and vent holes are preforated in either of the upper and the bottom sides. CONSTITUTION:A plane upper side 1 and a plane bottom side 2 are placed in parallel, the two sides being secured on a long strip of a circumferential side 3 located between the circumferences of the sides 1 and 2 to form a box a. A proper number of latticed partitions 4 are fastened at between the uper and the bottom sides 1 and 2. A suitable number of small holes 5 are bored in each partitione 4 to enable a ventilation of th whole inside of the box a. A proper number of small holes 6 wherethrough the outside and inside of the box are communicated with each other are perforated in either of the upper and the bottom sides 1 and 2. The upper and botoom sides 1 and 2 shall be of a light transmitting material such as glass, plastic, etc. This permits the production of the inexpensive and lighweight light-transmitting heat-insulating panel which is excellent in a light-transmittance and can be used for a solar heat collector cover or the like.
