Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent delay of an igniting position at a high speed and to accurately ignite at a low speed by employing FET of which input impedance is high at the initial stage of a switching circuit which controls the primary current of an ignition coil. CONSTITUTION:A multistage switching circuit is constituted of FET13 and transistors 6,3. A trigger signal Vs is generated from a signal power generating coil 23 to be reached to a trigger level et at a position advanced from an ignition timing, and FET13 is energized to be lower than a trigger level et' to shut off FET13. When shutting off and energizing FET13, a transistor 3 is shut off or energized, and current I1 is supplied to the primary side coil 1a of an ignition coil from a battery B by eneryizing the transistor 3. The first and the second bias voltages are switched by a bias circuit corresponding to the condition of said FET13. At the low speed operation, the ignition operation can be made accurate by giving a difference between the trigger levels.
