Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the same extremely-good sound quality with headphones by small speakers and to eliminate the need for special space for them, by extremely reducing the distance from the ears of a sitting listener by incorporating speakers in a headrest fitted to a seat. CONSTITUTION:A couple of speakers 10 and 11 are arranged in the headrest 14, fitted to seat 12, at both its ends. Then, those speakers 10 and 11 are so positioned that they face inward respectively and oppose to ears of a listener sitting on the seat as much as possible. Thus, speakers 10 and 11 are arranged to reduce extremely distances between speakers and listener's ears, so that small speaker will provide the same sound quality with a headphone.
