Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled compound having excellent heat resistance and keeping the characteristics of polyvinyl chloride resin, by compounding a polyvinyl chloride resin with an ester-type heat-resistant plasticizer, a basic lead compound, and a phosphite compound.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of a polyvinyl chloride having an average polymerization degree of 1,200W3,500 is compounded with (A) 40W70pts.wt. of an ester-type heat-resistant plasticizer having a molecular weight of ≥500 (pref. ditridecyl phthalate, etc.), (B) ≥5pts.wt. of a basic lead compound having a basicity of ≥40%, and (C) 1W10pts.wt. of a phosphite compound containing ≥5% of phosphorus (e.g. tridecyl phosphite). The composition is crosslinked by adding 2W20pts.wt. of a polyfunctional monomer having two or more functional groups (e.g. trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate) and subjecting to the radical generation treatment.
