Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable warm wind blow-off downward by a method wherein an auxiliary discharge outlet to be closed and opened by means of a damper to the lower direction of a discharge outlet and an auxiliary louvre to block the upper part of the discharge outlet is arranged.
CONSTITUTION: A discharge outlet 2 is opened at the front upper part of an air conditioner main body and an auxiliary discharge outlet 4 is opened at the lower part thereof and they are communicated to a wind feeding room 12 at the upper part of a fan 14. A horizontal louvre 7 and a vertical louvre 8 are installed at the discharge outlet 2 and a damper 18 for opening and closing which rotates around a shaft 19 is installed at an air passage 13 between the auxiliary discharge outlet 4 and the wind feeding room 12. The damper 18 is opened and closed with the swing of a manipulation lever 20 protruding forward by means of a coupling lever 30, and at the same time, an auxiliary louvre 21 at the rear upper part of the discharge outlet 2 is opened and closed by means of a coupling lever 23. When a damper 2 is opened, a louvre 21 is closed.
