Abstract

PURPOSE: To feed paper smoothly to prevent slackening of the paper, by arranging a swingable lever to a side of a paper paying-out roller, and providing said lever with a guide for engaging with the paper and a roller for engaging with the outer circumference of a flange of said first roller.
CONSTITUTION: The swingable lever 8 has a length longer than the diameter of the flange 5 with an intermediate portion of the lever 8 rotatably mounted on a shaft 7 and is provided with the guide bar 9 and the roller 14 located at an end opposite to the end having the bar 9, the roller 14 being arranged to be in contact with the circumference of the flange 5. A spring 11 is located between a pin 10 and a pin 15 that is on the swingable lever 8 between the shaft 7 and the roller 14. Accordingly, the swingable lever 8 is at all times tended to be rotated clockwise, so that the roller 14 abuts on the circumference of the flange 5 to apply braking torque thereon.
