Abstract
PURPOSE: To accurately perform the profiling by keeping a probe plate in parallel to and off a constant distance from the surface of a part to be profiled in which a drum and a nozzle are fitted by a method wherein the moving quantity of other shafts is controlled by angle signals of a scanning axis and a step ping axis.
CONSTITUTION: Three flexing shafts 3, 4, 5 are continuously installed at a point of a rotary shaft 2 installed at the point part of a horizontally moving shaft 1. A probe plate 6 is installed at the point of the flexing shaft 5 and an inspection tool is fitted thereto. The center line of the horizontal moving shaft 1 is made to coincide with a nozzle center line N and then, making the rotary shaft 2 to be a scanning axis and a stepping axis, a virtual axis 7 is installed so as to enable a rotation inside of the nozzle fitting part by approximately 90° to perform a profiling in keeping the inspection tool in parallel to and off a constant distance from a part A or B to be detected. At this time, angle signals of the rotary shaft 2 and the axis 7 are made input signals to other shafts 1, 3, 4, 5 to control the moving quantity of each shaft.
