Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Prepared is a plating bath in which F- is present at the concentration of 1×10-2W1×10-24g/l in the water solution containing chromic anhydride at a rate of 250W600g per 1l of water, but not sulfuric root in substance. For the F- source, for example, MgF2 is used. Then, employing the afore-mentioned plating bath at the temperature of -10W50°C, a good black Cr film is formed on the surface of electrically conductive material such as copper and iron at the current density of 5W200A/dm2 without irradiation of ionizating radiation.
