Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent gas from abruptly increasing by a method wherein the current value inputted in a governor is abruptly changed so as to lower the secondary gas pressure at the supply side of the governor at the time when the temperature adjustment is switched to change the gas flow from small one to large one.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of gas supply pipes 3 and 3', which are respectively connected to burners separated in blocks, are connected to the downstream side of a proportional governor 1. Solenoid valves 4 and 4' are provided in the supply pipes 3 and 3' respectively. When the gas is supplied to the blocks by switching a hot water temperature control knob 5 from "LOW" to "HIGH" under the condition that the whole valves except the solenoid valves 4 and 4' are open, the flow rate inputted in said governor 1 allows to change the secondary gas pressure at the supply side of said governor 1 stepwise in order to control the gas flow to the blocks of said burner.
