Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply and convey sheets in a state without skew by adjusting/ moving the right of left (with respect to the sheet conveying direction) end of a sheet guide member separately and in the sheet conveying direction.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet guide member 14 is fixed in its base portion to a slide plate 15, while a tip portion 16 of the guide member 14 is formed in straight shape and is positioned nearly parallel to the axial line of a separating roller 5. Each end 18 or 18a of the slide plate 15 is fitted slide-movable into a slit 17 or 17a of a slide plate 3 or 3a, and further fitted into a through hole 20 or 20a of an adjusting member 19 or 19a. Since each adjusting member 19 or 19a can slide in the lengthwise direction of a slot 17 or 17a, each end 18 or 18a of the plate 15 can be adjustted/moved independently along the sheet conveying direction A.
