CONSTITUTION: In steel consisting of 2W20wt% Mn, 0.4W2wt% C and the remainder Fe, 0.1W3wt% Ta is contained to obtain the titled alloy. The γ phase of the aforementioned alloy conditioned to a room temp. is easily converted to α phase by a short-time heat treatment. Therefore, this alloy has a wide application field and also is excellent in productivity.
