Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture surface coating material which is poor in reflection of rays and rich in antifoul function by stamping a special rugged pattern on preheated biaxially stretched polyester film with an embossing roll heated at a desired temperature. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of an embossing roll to be used marks are provided at the rate of 450-10,000/cm<2> wherein a relation of 0.1<=D/W<=1.5 wherein D is the diameter or diagonal of the convex part and W is the length of the concave part exists and the height between the convex and concave parts is 5-50mu (however, less than half the thickness of the film to be used).
