Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a danger of explosion, by leading a cooling noncombustible gas to the contact part of an electric plug also. CONSTITUTION:A light source lamp 6 and a light quantity controlling shutter 8 are provided in an airtightly formed case 3. The light of the light source 6 is converged and made incident to an incidence end face 7 of a light guide connector 4 mounted on a connector socket 5. A flow inlet 16 for leading a pressurized noncombustible gas from a gas bumb is provided in the rear face of the case 3, and an discharge exit 19 is provided in the front face of the case 3. Further, a discharge exit 28 connected to a gas feed tube 27 is provided in the rear face of the case 3. The gas feed tube 27 guides a power supply cord 30 and leads it to the outside. Air holes 32 and 32 connected to the gas feed tube 27 are formed in an electric plug at the tip of the power supply cord 30.
