Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent disturbance of an image due to scattering of a nonfixed image, by using a material to be charged to a polarity opposite to that of a charge possessed by a nonfixed image by friction with an image bearing sheet, for a part of a sheet conveyor coming into contact with the paper. CONSTITUTION:A guide member 2 arranged adjacently to a fixing roller 11 and a pressure roller 12 is composed of a material to be charged to a polarity to that of a charge 4 possessed by a nonfixed image 6, by triboelectrification with an image bearing sheet, such as a transfer paper 3. The paper 3 having the nonfixed image 6 transferred from a drum 17 is conveyed to a belt conveyor 15, brought into close contact with the belt 15 by a positive charge 5 present on the lower face of the paper 3, sent to the guide member 2 without any disturbance of the image 6, and passed sliding on the member 2, thus permitting the member 2 to be charged by tribo-electrification and to stabilize the image 6, the paper 3 to be guided to the nipping part of the pair of rollers 11, 12, and accordingly the image 6 to be transferred to the paper 3 without being disturbed.
