PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of engine troubles, by permitting a throttle opening rate-engine speed map operation to change over a boost pressure-engine speed map operation when an input piping connected to a pressure sensor to measure supercharging pressures is disconnected.
CONSTITUTION: In a heavy load range, AND gates 59, 60 are opened by outputs of a terminal 11a of ROM11 and a terminal 24b of ROM24, while a counter 61 starts to count clock pulse. When the count value reaches a predetermined value, a flip flop 62 is set.
