Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a titled scanner which is easy to assemble and adjust and prevent deterioration on account of tightly closed structure by unitizing the 1st aand 2nd lenses and a rotary polyhedral mirror one housing. CONSTITUTION:This optical scanner is constituted by mounting the 1st lens 1 to which a laser beam L is made incident, a rotary polyhedral mirror 4 secured to the shaft 3a of a driving motor 3 for converting the laser beam L transmitted through the lens 1 to a scanning beam 2 and the 2nd lens 5 allowing the transmission of the beam 2 to one piece of housing 6. The center of the optical axis of the 1st lens 1 and the center of the optical axis of the 2nd lens 5 intersects at the point 7 of reflection of the reflection point 7 of the laser beam L incident to the mirror 4 provided in the central part of the housing 6 and these 1st, 2nd lenses 1, 5 are fitted into lens cases 8, 9 as through-holes 10, 11 for fitting the cases 8, 9 are pierced to the housing 6 in the positions where the lenses intersect orthogonally with the horizontal plane at the reflection point 7.
