Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the delay of the accelerating or decelerating of an electromagnetic clutch motor and to eliminate the production of an impact noise by axially slidably providing a clutch ring and a brake ring and always lightly urging them toward the lining side by a spring. CONSTITUTION:A metal bearing 15 is implanted to a flywheel 5 secured to a motor shaft 11, and a clutch ring 6 is axially slidably mounted without circumferential rotation. A metal bearing 15' is implanted to a bracket 4, and a brake ring 3 is similarly mounted. Exciting electromagnets 1, 2 secured to the bracket are facted with a clutch rotor 16 secured to the output shaft 7 at both the rings 6, 3, and the rings 6, 3 are always lightly contacted with the linings 8, 8 by springs 17, 18 interposed at the metal bearing. In this case, the springs 18, 17 are preferably slightly strengthened.
