Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to obtain a thin magnetic film which has a strong mechanical strength, a high adhering strength to a substrate and a better magnetic property, by a method wherein a Co-Ni thin magnetic film having a given range of a component ratio is formed by a spatter. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic film, having a component repersented by a CO100-X NiX, where X is 0.1-30wt%, is formed by a spatter. If the X exceeds 30wt% or attains about 0.1wt%, it is not preferable since a coercive force becomes low. The magnetic film so formed has a high coercive force and displays a magnetic property having the same degree as that which is obtained in the case of a plating method. Additionally, it is formed by the spatter, and thereby the adhesion strength and the film strength are enoughly high, which results in eliminating the need for the covering of a protection layer on an upper layer thereof.
