Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove a long piece in improper position while conveying long pieces on two chains, by providing members to lift the long piece in improper position and push it out.
CONSTITUTION: In equipment for conveying electric circuit elements 1 located one by one at the pitches l of conveyor chains 2, a U or V-shaped bucket 3 is provided so that it can be vertically moved between the chains. When an electric circuit element 1c in improper position is detected, the conveyor is stopped and the bucket 1c is then lifted. The element 1c is thereafter hit by a tappet 4 so that the element is removed frin the conveyor. In this equipment, the element 1c can be easily blown away by compressed air instead of using the tappet 4.
