The problem was solved by collecting groundwater and draining this underground water to the surface using pumping pipes.

By collecting the groundwater that has sprung up around the bottom of the underground tank into a water collection tank and draining this groundwater to the surface using a pumping pipe, we have solved the problem of the underground tank floating due to water pressure and freezing of the groundwater, and also installed a manhole in the water collection tank. By installing a manhole and allowing workers to enter and exit the water collection tank through this manhole, work such as inspecting and repairing water pumping equipment and transporting earth and sand will be carried out smoothly.

Since the water flows in and is drained to the ground from the pump 12 at the appropriate time by the pump 15, the tank 1 is not subjected to external pressure.

In addition to letting the water flow into the water collection tank through the water collection pipe, the water in the water collection tank is drained to the ground from the lift pipe using a power pump at appropriate times, and the manhole installed in the water collection tank is connected to the manhole on the floating roof. With this structure, groundwater that has sprung up around the underground tank can be quickly and easily drained, thereby preventing the problem of the underground tank floating due to groundwater, and even if sludge or stored liquid remains. Since workers can enter and exit the water collection tank through the manhole, perform maintenance and inspection of drainage equipment, and carry in and out work equipment, it has the effect of greatly improving various work efficiency.
