り連結される。上方の温湯吐出用の接続管4の内
端部には傘5を取付けた口金が螺着されている
が、入浴中の人から見た場合には該傘5によつて
該口金6は全く見えないので、口金6が、黒変腐
食しても余り問題とはならない。しかし、下方の
吸水用の接続管3においてはその内端部に螺着さ
れる口金7は、入浴中の人から見た場合に良く見
えるため、黒変腐食を非常に嫌われる。

15の外周端縁部27を確実に固着して一体化出
来る。

本考案に係る浴槽用口金は以上詳述したよう
に、浴槽1と外釡2とを連結する接続管3の内端
部に螺着される浴槽用口金に於て、ステンレス鋼
よりも錆び易い金属材料からなる口金本体14の
外鍔19の外周端縁部20には、その全周にわた
つて裏面21側に凹所22を切欠形成し、かつ、
孔23と表て面26との角部に三角形状面取り2
5を形成し、さらに環状のステンレス鋼の薄板1
5を上記外鍔19の外周端縁部20と表て面2
6、及び孔23の開口内周端縁部24にわたつて
被覆すると共に上記薄板15の外周端縁部27を
上記凹所22側に鉤状に塑性折曲変形させ、該外
周端縁部27が外鍔19の裏面21から突出しな
いように、上記口金本体14に該薄板15を固着
し、かつ上記面取り25に対応する該薄板15の
折曲部位が大き目の丸味を有し、該薄板15裏面
と面取り25との間に逃げ用空隙が形成された構
成であるから、次のような著大な作用効果が得ら
れる。即ち、浴槽1に取付けた状態では美しい
白銀色で商品価値を高め、第1図のような従来の
黒色腐食を有効に防止出来る。口金本体14と
しては低級品質の金属材料が使用出来てコスト低
減出来る。外鍔19が硬い金属であるから、薄
板15の外周端縁部27を該外鍔19の凹所22
へ塑性折曲加工することは極めて容易である。
薄板15の外周端縁部27が外鍔裏面21から突
出しないから、第3図に示すようにガスケツト1
3等を傷付けずに完全な密封が得られる。塑性
折曲加工により全体が安価に製造が出来る。三
角形状面取り25と、これに対応する薄板15の
大き目の丸味を有し、薄板15裏面と面取り25
との間に逃げ用空隙が三ケ月状に形成され、(角
部が薄板15裏面に干渉せず)表て面26に密着
状に薄板15を包囲して強固に一体化出来る。
三角形状面取り25に対応する薄板15の大き目
の丸味は取付状態で湯水の接続管3への吸込抵抗
を減少して、外釡2を焚いたときの湯水の循環を
良くする。
