(従来の技術)
従来のカラーフィルタの製法として、ガラス基板などに
ゼラチン等の可染性樹脂を塗布し、これをホトレジスト
の窓を通して部分的に染め分けるという方法が知られて

(発明が解決しようとする問題点)
上記従来方法によって製造したカラーフィルタは、マ又
り合せの誤差により隣接する染色部間に非染色の間隙が
できたり、また混色を防ぐためにわざと間隙をつくる場
合もある。また染色部の中にもゴミやホコリや現像残り
等で染色されない欠陥ができることがある。これら間隙
や欠陥は染色されないため、光をよく通し、輝いて見え
るのでその欠点が目立っていた。また透過した光が白色
光のためにカラーフィルタの色度を低下させてしまうと

(発明の効果)
本発明によれば、カラーフィルタに白く抜ける部分がな
くなり、その部分が一番視感度の低い青い色に染ってい
るので目立たなくなり、色度の低下をおさえることがで
きる。また青色用のマスクを使う工程が不要になる結果

トリソグラフィ技術により赤色染色部および緑色染色部
を形成し、ついで上記可染性樹脂層の上に全面にポジ型
ホトレジストを塗布し、上記ポジ型ホトレジストのうち
、上記赤色染色部および緑色染色部以外の部分を感光さ
せて、現像後青色染色浴につけて染色することを特徴と
