(2) Background of the technology Display devices, especially tabletop display devices, suffer from light from windows, fluorescent lights, etc. that reflects off the display screen and enters the operator's eyes, making it difficult to see the data and images displayed on the display device. In order to avoid this, it is required that the installation angle can be easily adjusted according to the physique of the operator.

(3) Prior art and problems The simplest structure for legs that can adjust the installation angle of the housing is one that uses screws.
Those using screws have the disadvantage that adjustment operations are frequent. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the leg structure allows the installation angle of the casing to be adjusted with one action. As shown in FIGS. A structure in which the installation angle of the housing 1 can be adjusted in two stages by raising and lowering the housing 1 is also known. Here, 3 is a display screen, 4 is a pivot part of leg piece 2, 5 is a stopper for holding leg piece 2 in an upright state, 6 and 7 are fixed legs, and fixed leg 7 allows leg piece 2 to lie down. This is provided to support the casing 1 when the housing 1 is placed.
However, in the structures shown in the first and second figures, the upright state of the leg piece 2 is maintained by the stopper 5, so that the stopper 5 and the leg piece 2 are pivoted by lever action. There is a drawback that a large amount of stress acts on the portion 4 and these portions are easily damaged, and there is also a problem in safety when the leg piece 2 is installed in an upright position.

Further, various structures are known in which the installation angle of the casing can be adjusted in three or more stages with one operation, but these conventional structures have the disadvantage of a complicated mechanism.

(4) Purpose of the invention This invention has a structure that allows the installation angle of the display device casing to be adjusted in two or more stages with a single action, and can be manufactured easily and inexpensively.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a structure of a casing leg that is stable and does not cause excessive stress on the supporting member.

(5) Structure of the invention In the display device of this invention, a rotating member having a flat surface on its circumferential surface is pivoted to the bottom of the casing, and the rotating member is rotated to bring the flat part onto the installation surface. It is characterized by changing the installation angle of the casing by making surface contact, and by rotating a rotating member provided with one flat part to make it appear and disappear from the bottom of the casing, the angle of installation of the casing can be changed. The installation angle can be adjusted in two stages, and the installation angle of the casing can be adjusted by providing the rotating member with a plurality of flat parts with different normal distances from the rotation axis and rotating these. It is designed so that it can be adjusted in two or more stages.

In the illustrated embodiment, reference numerals 8a and 8b are rotating members, and shafts 9 fixed to the rotating members 8a and 8b are rotatably inserted into the bottom of the display device 1. Generally, two rotating members 8a and 8b are provided as shown in FIG. 7, but these two rotating members are fixed to one shaft 9 and are configured to rotate at the same time. Reference numeral 10 denotes a recess formed at the bottom of the display device 1 in order to accommodate the rotating members 8a and 8b. A projection 11 for locking the member 8a is provided, and the projection 11 is configured to lock the rotating member 8a by the elasticity of the wall surface 12 of the recess 10. Reference numeral 7 designates a fixed leg having the same function as that in the conventional device shown in FIG.

In the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, one plane part 13 is provided on the circumferential surface of the rotating member 8a, and the plane part 13 is opened by advancing the rotating member 8a. There are two states: the state shown in the third figure in which the rotating member 8a is in surface contact with the installation surface 15, and the state shown in the fourth figure in which the rotating member 8a is housed in the recess 10 and the housing 1 is supported by the fixed legs 7. The installation angle of the housing 1 can be adjusted in two stages.

The second embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 to 7 has three flat parts 14a, 14b and 14c on the circumferential surface of the rotating member 8b, which have different normal distances from the axis 9.
is provided, and the rotating member 8b is rotated to place any one of the flat parts 14a, 14b or 14c on the installation surface 1.
By making surface contact with the housing 5, the installation angle of the housing 1 can be adjusted in three stages. FIG. 5 shows a state where the inclination angle of the housing 1 is maximized by bringing the flat part 14a into surface contact with the installation surface 15, and FIG. 6 shows the state where the flat part 14c is brought into surface contact with the installation surface 15. This shows the state in which the angle of inclination of the housing 1 is minimized. If the flat part 14b is brought into surface contact with the installation surface 15,
The casing 1 is installed at an intermediate inclination angle, and the installation angle of the casing 1 can be adjusted in three stages. Furthermore, if a rotary member 8b having four or more flat parts is used, each of which is brought into surface contact with the installation surface 15, the installation angle of the housing 1 can be adjusted in four or more stages. I can do it. FIG. 7 is a perspective view of the case 1 of the display device seen from below, and shows a knob 16 provided on the shaft 9.
A structure is shown in which the installation angle of the housing 1 is adjusted by rotating the housing 1.

(7) Effects of the invention This invention makes it possible to adjust the installation angle of the casing of a display device using the mechanism described above, and allows the installation angle of the casing to be adjusted in two or more stages with one action. The structure is extremely simple and can be manufactured at low cost. Furthermore, since the rotating members 8a, 8b and the installation surface 15 are in surface contact with each other to support the housing 1, there is no need for a stopper or the like to restrict the rotation of the rotating members 8a, 8b. There is no risk of excessive stress being generated in the shaft-attached portions of the rotating members 8a and 8b, and there is also the effect that the support of the casing is stable.
