Abstract

PURPOSE:To have quick and precise braking action through elimination of play by furnishing a transmission mechanism and a braking mechanism below a driver's seat, arranging a parking brake lever in connection to a braking mechanism actuating arm near one side of the driver seat, and thereby enabling control of the actuating arm directly. CONSTITUTION:A transmission case 4 with built-in transmission mechanism 3 for driving of the left and right wheels 2 is installed behind a pair of frames 8, right and left, and a braking mechanism 5 is furnished at the upper side of this transmission case 4. A cam shaft 15 for actuation of this braking mechanism 5 is provided protruding, and an actuating arm 6 is fixed. A driver's seat 1 is provided above the transmission mechanism 3 and braking mechanism 5 through a framing 10. One end of this actuating arm 6 is connected with a brake pedal 17 through a rod 19, while the other end directly with a brake lever 7, which is arranged near one end of the driver seat. Direct connection of the manual brake lever 7 with the actuating arm will eliminate play, and enable quick and precise braking actions.
