Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain an excellent superconductive property by melting a metal sheath applying heat treatment and sintering a superconductive raw material after filling the metal sheath with superconductive raw material in ceramics line to obtain a line-shaped complex material by paring the surface. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive raw material 3 in ceramics line is filled in a cylindrical metal sheath 2 and hardened by pressure, and then applied with paring processes such as extruding, drawing, swaging, etc., thus a line- shaped raw material 4 long and small in diameter as a line-shaped complex material is obtained. Further, as a metal which constitutes the sheath 2, a substance which has a melting point lower than the temperature at which a superconductor is created is selected. And the line-shaped raw material 4 is sintered in a temperature shpere in which a superconductor is created. Hereupon, the sheath 2 is melted and fused down and the raw material 3 is exposed and sufficient supply of necessary elements can be accepted from the atmosphere in the outside. Accordingly, an excellent superconductor 1 which has a high critical temperature and large critical current can be made. Further, it can be processed into the desired shape along with heat treatment.
