Abstract
PURPOSE: To freeze articles contained in each shelf plate of a freezer uniformly in average by arranging liquefied gas ejection tubes along the opposite sides of each shelf plate and liquefied gas ejection ports are provided at a position of the ejection tube corresponding to the shelf. CONSTITUTION: Liquefied gas ejection tubes 6a, 6b arranged along the opposite sides of the shelf plate 4 in a freezer 1 are provided, at specified positions thereof, with liquefied gas ejection ports 7. A liquefied gas supply valve 8 supplies liquefied gas to the ejection tubes 6a, 6b and solenoid valves 9a, 9b controls the liquefied gas flowing into the ejection tubes 6a, 6b. The freezer 1 can be cooled uniformly by ejecting liquefied gas alternately from ejection tubes 6a, 6b arranged on the opposite sides utilizing the solenoid valves 9a, 9b. An exhaust port 10 is provided above the freezer 1. According to the arrangement, an intricate mechanism for accelerating convection of liquefied gas and a fan for diffusing the gas can be eliminated completely.
