Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a need for consideration on the delay due to the wiring of an input highway and an output highway, and to speed up the operation by controlling the frame phase of a write/read address to/from a channel memory by means of frame synchronizing information. CONSTITUTION:A frame synchronizing signal is given to the time division multiplex signals on the input highways 105, 115, and the frame phases of the input highways 105, 115 for time switches 120, 130 are detected, and counters 124, 134 are reset in matching with the phases of the input highways 105, 115, thereby, the frame phases of the input highways 105, 115 for channel memories 123, 133 are made coincident with the frame phase of a line address. Further, a frame synchronizing signal is given to speech signals on the output highways 181, 191, so that the frame phase of a control signal inputted to the channel memories 123, 133 are similarly made coincident with that of the output highway 181.
