Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow easy insertion of a corrugated flexible tube and to block removal thereof reliably, by providing an anti-removal projection near the inlet of a tube insertion hole. CONSTITUTION:Upon fitting of a ring 20, an anti-removal projection 25 is fitted to the inner circumferential face of a cylindrical split segment 10 with the outside face 25a thereof contacting therewith. An engaging projection 25c directs radially inward to project to the inner circumference of a tube insertion hole 17, while a cam face 25b directs obliquely toward an insertion hole of flexible tube. A resilient supporting projection 24 contacts with the inner circumferential face. A corrugated flexible tube 40 is inserted through the flexible tube insertion hole of fitting ring 20 into the tube insertion hole 17. At this time, a projection 41 on the flexible tube 40 contacts with the cam face 25b and kicks the engaging projection 25c. Consequently, the resilient supporting projection 24 is deformed resiliently and allows insertion of the flexible tube 40. Then the engaging projection 25c is fitted in a recess 42 of the flexible tube 40, thus preventing removal of tube reliably.
