Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent noise from flowing into a main line from a branch line by connecting the branch line to the main line only when the data to be sent from the branch line to the main line are present. CONSTITUTION:When a signal to be transmitted in the up direction of a branch line is present, the voltage of an input signal to an up amplifier 118 is higher than the deciding level set beforehand, and therefore, a switch 120 is turned on. Thus, in the input of an up amplifier 107, the data are synthesized with the up signal on the main line through a branch filter 109 and sent to a central device. When the signal to be transmitted in the up direction of the branch line is absent, the switch 120 is turned off. When the signal to be transmitted in the up direction is absent, the branch line is interrupted from the main line, and therefore, the flowing of the noise from the branch line and the main line can be prevented.
