Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent generation of creases by performing deep draw molding precisely by preventing irregularity in heating of a trim body, by a method wherein a top and bottom heaters are deformed so that a gap among parts each of the trim body and the top and bottom heaters is almost unified in accordance with a slackened state of the trim body during heating operation. CONSTITUTION:A trim body 4 is heated by a top and bottom heater bodies 12, 12. At the time of this heating operation, the top and bottom heater bodies 12, 12 are deformed respectively, at one time so that a gap among parts each of the trim body 4 and the top and bottom heater bodies 12, 12 is almost unified in accordance with a slackened state of the trim body. Then deep draw molding of the trim body 4 softened through heating is performed into a predetermined form by a press molding tool 29 under a state where a vacuum is drawn. As the deep draw molding of the trim body heated uniformly like this is performed, molding can be performed precisely and local generation of creases is eliminated.
