PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction the number of components by separating terminal components from a multiplex terminal control circuit and constituting them separately as a terminal unit, and allowing the multiplex terminal control circuit to be shaped with the terminal unit. CONSTITUTION:Each multiplex terminal equipment 5 consists of a multiplex terminal control circuit 6 and a connecting terminal 5a only, and a filter circuit 8 for a multiplex transmission line terminal, an earth side terminal resistance 9, a power source side terminal resistance 10, and a connecting terminal 5b are provided separately as a 'terminal unit'. On a fault diagnostic device 11, as well, the connecting terminal 5b which can be connected to the connecting terminal 5a of the multiplex terminal equipment 5 is provided. Also, the connecting terminal 5b of the terminal unit 7 is connected to the connecting terminal 5a of the multiplex terminal equipment 5 which is terminated, selectively among plural multiplex terminal equipments 5 in accordance with an applied multiplex signal. Accordingly, the multiplex terminal control circuit 6 of the multiplex terminal equipment concerted 5 analyzes the multiplex signal and can generate a signal for controlling the part concerned of each part of a vehicle.
