CONSTITUTION:A red and cyan component picture signal from image sensors 104, 105 is fed to a color separation circuit 35 via A/D converters 60, 61 and gate circuits 30, 31 respectively. The density data and color code from the color separation circuit 35 are fed to a color ghost correction means 300 and the density data and the color code subjected to MTF correction by an MTF correction means 450 are fed to an output device 700 via a partial color conversion means 500, a multi-value processing means 600 and an interface circuit 40. A threshold value selection means 600A in a multi-value processing means 600 consists of a threshold value decision means 630 for manual setting and a threshold value decision means 650 for automatic setting.
