Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce powder in such a state that fiber is uniformly dispersed therein with use of an ordinary mixer by dry-mixing fiber wherein the surface is adsorbed with a surfactant or the like and dried with powder. CONSTITUTION:The surface of fiber consisting of carbon fiber or the like is adsorbed with a surfactant consisting of sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate or the like or with both it and hydrated inactive powder consisting of calcium carbonate and dried. Then this fiber is dry-mixed with powder consisting of ordinary Poltland cement by using a mixer such as Nauta mixer. The usage of the surfactant preferably is 0.001-10wt.% for water. Further the amount of water necessary for pasting the hydrated inactive powder preferably is 20-200wt.% for water. Furthermore the included amount of fiber is preferably 2-20pts.wt. for powder. As a result, even the fiber of more amounts than ordinary usage or even the comparatively long fiber can be uniformly dispersed and mixed in/with powder.
