Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a tool to be automatically selected by providing first and second tool selecting means based on the dimensional value of working information and further a quality estimating value and a third tool selecting means based on the minimum sum value of calculated working time and tool preparatory time. CONSTITUTION:The dimensional values of working information and tool information read out of respective memory means are compared with each other by a first tool selecting means to select a proper tool group and a tool group satisfying a quality estimating value are selected from said group by a second tool selecting means. Next, a working time calculating means searches a working requirement corresponding to the selected tool from the memory means to calculate a necessary working time. Then, a third tool selecting means calculates the total sum of calculated working time and read tool preparatory time to select the minimum value tool as an optimum tool. Thus, a tool suited for the desired dimension and working accuracy and having the shortest working time can be automatically selected.
