Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify a control structure as well as to make a stable supply air flow rate controllable by installing a cathode supply air flow controlling three-way valve which distributes air fed out of a compressor of a turbocompressor to a pipeline to to cell cathode side and a pipeline to a mixing chamber or the turbine inlet side. CONSTITUTION:As control over an air flow rate between the cell cathode side and the system differential pressure side, there is provided with a three-way valve which distributes air fed out of a compressor of a turbocompressor 2 to a pipeline 4 leading to the cell cathode side and a pipeline 7 leading to a mixing chamber or the turbine inlet side in place of using each one valve. With this constitution, when a cathode supply air low rate becomes lessened, a bypass air flow rate to the mixing chamber or a turbine inlet is automatically increased, and since both air flow rates come to supplementary relations with each other, the flow rate as a whole is not changed, but a pressure variation at the valve upstream side lessens, whereby stable air flow control can be done in the same manner as in case of control with two pieces of a two-way valve, and that a control structure is simplified and, what is more, system efficiency is also improvable.
