Abstract

PURPOSE:To make shearing strength in a stretching direction high and facilitate mold ing, by a method wherein a cell size of each cell constituting a honeycomb core is formed into about the same length as that of a pitch between joining parts, and the each cell is formed into a long lengthwise hexagonal form along the stretching direc tion. CONSTITUTION:Respective cell sizes S of each cell 2 of a honeycomb core 1 and a pitch P between joining parts 14 are formed into about the same length, and the each cell 2 is formed into a long lengthwise hexagonal form along a stretching direc tion W. A joining material layer 4 is formed linearly on a sheetlike base material 13 with a joining material, predetermined sheets of the base materials 13 are superposed upon one another in order that the joining material layers 4 are positioned by sliding off by half a pitch alternately. After the base materials 13 where the joining material layer 4 has not been formed are superposed upon one another finally, they are laminat ed through pressurization and heating and a blocklike honeycomb core 11 in an unstretched state is formed. After the honeycomb core 11 has been cut off every desired length in the direction meeting at right angles with each joining part 14, a honeycomb core 1 is obtained by performing stretching so that the cell size S of the each cell 2 becomes a predetermined value in the stretching direction W.
