Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a propylene polymer composition having excellent water- resistance, rigidity, impact resistance and moldability and composed of a modified propylene polymer and a specific modified polyamide containing larger amount of amino group terminal than carboxyl group terminal in terms of equivalent ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer composition contains (A) 40-95wt.% (preferably 60-95wt.%) of a modified propylene polymer produced by grafting 100pts.wt. of a crystalline propylene polymer composed mainly of propylene with 0.01-10pts.wt. (preferably 0.03-5pts.wt.) of an unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative), (B) 60-5wt.% (preferably 40-5wt.%) of a modified polyamide containing >=60mol.-equivalent/kg (preferably >=70mol.-equivalent/kg) of amino group terminal produced by reacting terminal COOH of a polyamide (preferably nylon 6 or nylon 66) with a diamine and, as necessary, (C) an unmodified thermoplastic polymer, a filler, a fiber, etc.
