Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently recover a solvent from the gaseous mixture of air and the solvent by condensing or solidifying the solvent and thereafter separating the solvent from air to recover it in the case of separating and recovering the gaseous mixture. CONSTITUTION:In the case of separating and recovering the gaseous mixture of air and a solvent, after condensing or solidifying the solvent, the solvent is separated from air by air separation, etc., and recovered. For example, the gaseous mixture of air and CFC 113 of a solvent which is generated when a material to be treated is introduced into a basket 1 and washed with steam is led to a specific cyclone 10 fitted with a cooler and cooled at freezing point of the solvent or at the temp. lower than it and thereby condensed CFC 113 and water are allowed to fall to the uncooled part near to the lower part 12 of the cyclone and thereafter melted and recovered as liquid and furthermore the mixture is passed through a water separator 13 and CFC 113 is separated from water.
