Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of an A/D converter and to realize the cost down of a circuit by analogically multiplexing the chrominance signals of three colors, A/D-converting them after that. CONSTITUTION:A three-phase selecting signal generation circuit 6 generating a selecting signal for selecting the analogue chrominance signals (R, G and B) 7-9 and a selecting signal phase setting circuit 5 setting a phase to make a generation order at the left end of the display screen of the selecting signal to be shifted in a vertical picture element direction one picture element by one and to be the same generation order every three picture elements are provided. A video signal is separated to three primary colors and inputted to an analogue/multiplexer 1 as the R chrominance signal 9, the G chrominance signal 7 and the B chrominance signal 8.
