Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily tie package by establishing a foundation having one stand on its base side and the other on its forward side and providing the base side stand with an adhesive tape supply portion externally thereof and with a cutter on the upper surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:An arm 4a is mounted to the rear side of a stand 2A on a base side and its bent portion provides a supply portion 4 of an adhesive tape T. The adhesive tape T is drawn from the supply portion 4 until its forward end is positioned on the upper surface of a stand 2B on a forward side end, upon turning on a switch 8, an impulse heater 5 is heated instantaneously to cut off meltingly the tape T on the upper surface of the stand 2A. Under this condition, as the package C is pressed toward foam polyurethane 3a, it is penetrated into the foam polyurethane 3a, while rasing both sides thereof, in such a manner that the tape T rises with the package C interposed between both sides. Therefore, tying of the package is completed by adhering both sides of the tape to the top of the package forming an abutment or overlapping with each other.
