Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an original document from being fed askew and from jamming as a result of the skew feed by providing a 2nd paper guide capable of moving in the direction perpendicular to the rim of a paper placement groove. CONSTITUTION:An original document placing table 1 for placing a document to be sent on is detachably attached to a main body 2 of a facsimile. In the case a document of the A4 size or smaller and a document of a size larger than the A4 size are to be sent at the same time, the smaller document is first placed in a placement groove 4 and is held between one rim of the groove 4 and a 2nd document guide 7, and then the larger document is placed over the smaller document and is held between a pair of 1st document guides 5, 6. Since the document of different sizes are held with respectively corresponding document guides, they are surely fed one by one without being fed askew.
