CONSTITUTION:When the steel sheet plated on one side is produced, a steel sheet is electrolyzed in an electrically conductive bath contg. >=2g/l polyamine and kept at 7-13pH with the non-plated surface after plating as an anode. Straight-chain aliphatic polyamines such as hexamethylenediamine and cyclic polyamines such as piperazine are exemplified as the polyamine to be used. By this method, acid burns on the non-plated surface are sufficiently removed, hence the cleanliness of the non-plated surface can be improved, and the deterioration in the chemical conversion treating property and coating property can be obviated.
