Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a polypropylene polymer composition having excellent mechanical characteristics and solid-phase adhesivity, by using a styrene-based polymer having a specific particle diameter and surface-coated with a solubilizing agent at a specific thickness and dispersing the styrene polymer in a polypropylene polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer composition is composed of (A) a continuous phase consisting of a polypropylene polymer, preferably a PP having a melt index (MI) of 5-60g/10min and (B) a disperse phase consisting of a styrene- based polymer having particle diameter of <=5mum and obtained by coating a surface of (B1) a styrene-based polymer with (B2) a solubilizing agent (e.g. styrene-butadiene copolymer or styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer) at a thickness of 0.01-1mum. The sum of the components B1 and B2 is 30-60pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of A+B1+B2 and the amount of the component B2 is 10-30pts. wt. per 100pts.wt. of A+B1.
