Claims (15)
- 어셈블리로서:
액체 하우징 내로 흐르는 증기 내에 수반되는 액체를 포획하도록 구성된 액체 트랩을 갖는 하우징과;
벤투리 노즐을 갖고, 액체 트랩과 선택적으로 유체 교통하므로, 벤투리 노즐을 통한 액체 흐름이 액체 트랩의 유출(draining)을 유도하게 하는, 제트 펌프를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 제1항에 있어서,
벤투리 노즐을 통한 액체 흐름에 의해 생성된 압력 편차가 사전에 설정된 레벨 이하일 때, 제트 펌프에 의한 액체 트랩의 유출을 방지하고, 압력 편차가 사전에 설정된 레벨 이상일 때, 적어도 부분적으로 액체 트랩을 유출하도록, 제트 펌프와 액체 트랩 간의 유체 교통을 허용하도록 구성된 밸브를 더 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 제2항에 있어서,
하우징은 벤투리 노즐에 인접한 개구를 갖고; 밸브는:
밸브 바디와;
압력 편차가 사전에 설정된 레벨 이상일 때, 밸브 바디를 폐쇄된 위치로 바이어싱하고, 밸브 바디에 의해 극복된 스프링 힘을 가지며, 이에 의해 액체 트랩이 하우징 내의 개구를 통해서 제트 펌프로 유출하도록 허용하는, 스프링을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 제1항에 있어서,
제트 펌프가 하우징에 탑재되고; 하우징이 벤투리 노즐에 실질적으로 인접한 개구를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 제1항에 있어서,
벤투리 노즐에 대한 액체 흐름의 압력을 감소시키고 속도를 증가시키도록 구성된 벤투리 노즐의 상류에 압력 리듀셔를 더 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 제5항에 있어서,
압력 리듀셔는, 벤투리 노즐로의 액체 흐름을 위한 구불구불한 흐름 경로를 규정하는 일련의 플러그를 포함하고, 이에 의해 액체 흐름의 압력을 감소시키고 속도를 증가시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 제6항에 있어서,
플러그는 일반적으로 원통형이 되고, 구불구불한 흐름 경로를 형성하는 축의 개구 및 섹터 개구인 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 제1항에 있어서,
제트 펌프는 벤투리 노즐의 하류에 혼합 챔버 및 디퓨저를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 제1항에 있어서,
하우징 및 제트 펌프가 래비린드 실을 형성하는 경계에서 서로 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 어셈블리. - 액체 연료 흐름을 제공하도록 구성된 연료 펌프를 갖는 연료 탱크의 연료 증기 복구 시스템을 위한 액체 트랩 어셈블리로서:
제1포트 및 제2포트를 갖고, 하우징을 통해서 연료 증기 복구 시스템으로, 제1포트로부터 제2포트로 흐르는 증기 내에 수반되는 액체를 포획하도록 구성된 액체 트랩을 형성하고; 개구를 갖는 하우징과;
하우징 내의 개구에 인접해서 하우징에 탑재된 벤투리 노즐을 갖고, 연료 펌프와 유체 교통하므로, 연료 펌프가 액체 연료를 벤투리 노즐을 통해 펌핑하게 하는 제트 펌프와;
하우징 내에 위치되고, 벤투리 노즐을 통한 액체 연료 흐름에 의해 생성된 압력 편차가 사전에 설정된 레벨 이하일 때, 개구를 통한 액체 트랩의 유출을 방지하도록 구성되며, 벤투리 노즐을 통한 액체 연료 흐름에 의해 생성된 압력 편차가 사전에 설정된 레벨 이상일 때, 제트 펌프와 액체 트랩 간의 유체 교통을 수립하도록 이동하도록 구성되어, 벤투리 노즐을 통한 액체 연료 흐름이 이에 의해 하우징 내의 개구를 통한 액체 트랩의 유출(draining)을 유도하는, 밸브를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 트랩 어셈블리. - 제10항에 있어서,
제트 펌프가 연료 펌프와 유체 교통하는 입구 및 입구와 벤투리 노즐 사이의 압력 리듀셔를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 트랩 어셈블리. - 제11항에 있어서,
압력 리듀셔는, 벤투리 노즐에 대한 액체 연료 흐름을 위한 구불구불한 흐름 경로를 규정하도록 위치되어, 이에 의해 액체 연료의 압력을 감소시키고 속도를 증가시키는, 일련의 플러그를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 트랩 어셈블리. - 시스템으로서:
연료 펌프를 갖는 연료 탱크와;
연료가 연료 방출 라인을 통해 연료 펌프로부터 제공되는 엔진과;
연료 증기 복구 장치와;
연료 탱크에 동작가능하게 접속되어, 연료 증기를 연료 탱크로부터 증기 복구 장치로 교통하도록 동작가능한 증기 통기 밸브와;
연료 탱크에 동작가능하게 접속되는 액체 트랩 어셈블리로서:
증기 통기 밸브로부터 하우징 내로 흐르는 연료 증기 내에 수반되는 액체를 포획하도록 구성된 액체 트랩을 갖는 하우징과;
연료 방출 라인으로부터 연료를 수취하도록 동작가능하게 접속되고; 벤투리 노즐을 갖고, 액체 트랩과 선택적으로 유체 교통하므로, 벤투리 노즐을 통한 연료 흐름이 액체 트랩의 유출을 유도하게 하는, 제트 펌프를 포함하여 구성되는 액체 트랩 어셈블리를,
포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템. - 제13항에 있어서,
하우징 내에 위치되고, 벤투리 노즐을 통한 연료 흐름에 의해 생성된 압력 편차가 사전에 설정된 레벨 이하일 때, 개구를 통한 액체 트랩의 유출을 방지하도록 구성되며, 벤투리 노즐을 통한 연료 흐름에 의해 생성된 압력 편차가 사전에 설정된 레벨 이상일 때, 개구를 통해 제트 펌프와 액체 트랩 간의 유체 교통을 수립하도록 이동하도록 구성되어, 벤투리 노즐을 통한 연료 흐름이 이에 의해 하우징 내의 개구를 통한 액체 트랩의 유출(draining)을 유도하는, 밸브를 더 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템. - 제13항에 있어서,
연료 펌프와 벤투리 노즐 사이의 동작가능하게 접속된 압력 리듀셔를 더 포함하여 구성되고;
압력 리듀셔는, 벤투리 노즐에 대한 액체 연료 흐름을 위한 구불구불한 흐름 경로를 규정하도록 위치되어, 이에 의해 액체 연료의 압력을 감소시키고 속도를 증가시키는, 일련의 플러그를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
